Day 8: Begin your day with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, then return to the hotel for breakfast. Then take an hour’s drive outside Agra to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. A World Heritage Site, the former Mughal capital dramatically abandoned shortly after being built in the 16th century. This site houses a complex of monuments and temples. Your next stop will be the Keoladeo Ghana National Park (formerly called the Bharatpur Bird Sancturary), another World Heritage Site.
